Emily Age 4 Years 5 Months

This is the story of the origin the babar the king of the elephants and how he came to get the throne.

Theres a warning for parents on this one there are a few deaths to speak of and some very sad things that happen to Babar. His mother gets shot and killed by a hunter, The old elephant king dies and Babar runs away and is all alone.

The other thing that is strange is that Babar marries celeste which in the book is stated to be his cousin.

Emily didnt engage to much with this book it was probably not quite age appropriate she did enjoy some of the book but wasnt enthralled with it. I think the short Babar stories will be better recieved.
