An interesting extension to the hickory dickory dock nursery rhyme. Emily knows the hickory dickory dock nursery rhyme so was a little confused when the words were changed but was thrilled at the end when we could go through the version she knows. The illustrations are good and lots to see on each page. Some of the Rhyming wasn’t great.
Hickory dickory dock You might be in for a shock . . . Poor mother mouse cant find her sons! Oh, where to look? Which hole, which nook? The clock is ticking . . . Can she find them before the sneaky cat pounces?
