Elmer’s Special Day
Emily’s age 4 years 6 Months
Elmer is a rather unique elephant being that he is patchwork coloured and not grey like the other elephants. So once a year they have a day where Elmer paints himself grey like the other elephants and the other elephants participate in the elephant parade with all the wild colours.
Emily enjoyed this book there was lots of colour on every page and a nice little story to follow along to it was very easy to read and engaged Emily quite easily.
Once a year on Elmer's Day, all the elephants decorate themselves and have a parade, and this year Elmer comes up with a plan to include the other animals as well as the elephants.
