Elmer and the Stranger

Elmer and his mates come across a strange-looking fellow that is jumping falling over and crying how bizarre. After chatting with this chap they all set off to help kangaroo win the jumping competition.
Emily enjoys Elmer books however I don’t feel this one is as interesting as some of the other Elmer books we have read. she did enjoy the kangaroo in the story though.
Is there a difference between a bounce and a jump? Kangaroo thinks there is, and he is very concerned he is going to look silly in the upcoming jumping competition, until Elmer helps him discover that the one will do just as well as the other.
