Emily Age – 4 and 3 months

When i first read this i thought monkey is a jerk and there is no real message. upon doing a little more research i found that this book is based on a Philippine tale that has a much more final end for the monkey. I think maybe the moral is lost without the original ending. Although I’m not sure that would go down well with my daughter.
